44. Not to engage in banking business, finance business or microfinance business

A licencee shall not issue, publish or demonstrate any advertisement, circular or any other material used for the purpose of marketing of its business, containing expressions which may imply or give an inference to the public that it carries on banking business, finance business or microfinance business:

Provided that, the provisions of this section shall not apply to a microfinance institution licensed under this Act to issue, publish or demonstrate any advertisement, circular or any other material used for the purpose of marketing of its microfinance business.
