79. Persons authorised to prosecute

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Commissioner-General or any officer of the

Department of Agrarian Services authorized in that behalf by the Commissioner-General in writing, shall be entitled to initiate proceedings in respect of offences under this Act.
