311. End of liquidation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

A liquidation ends on the day at which, and at the time at which –

Rescue, Rehabilitation and Insolvency

(a)

all of the property of the company as at the commencement of the liquidation has been realised, distributed or disclaimed, and the proceeds of realisation of property have been distributed to the extent practicable; or

(b)

the court ends the liquidation, under section 362

or in the exercise of any other power the court may exercise.
