339. Settlement of a list of contributories

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

Subject to subsection (2), as soon as practicable after commencement of a liquidation, the liquidator shall settle a list of contributories.

(2)

Where the liquidator considers that it will not be necessary to make calls on contributories, the liquidator need not settle a list of contributories.

(3)

In settling a list of contributories, the liquidator shall follow such procedure as may be prescribed.

(4)

A list of contributories shall comply with such requirements as may be prescribed.
