401. Duty of receiver to notify end of receivership

(1)

This section applies to a person who was a receiver at the end of a receivership.

(2)

Within two working days after the end of the receivership, the person shall –

(a)

give written notice of the end of the receivership to the company or, if the company is in liquidation, the liquidator;

(b)

where the person was appointed as a receiver by the court, file the notice with the registrar of the court; and

Rescue, Rehabilitation and Insolvency

(c)

send a copy of the notice to the Registrar and

Authority.

(3)

Every person who fails to comply with this section commits an offence.
