473. Amendment of First Schedule to the Companies Act

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The First Schedule to the Companies Act is hereby amended in paragraph 34, by the substitution for the words

"The shareholders may resolve to wind up the company voluntarily by special resolution.”, of the words, “The shareholders may resolve by special resolution that a liquidator of the company be appointed.”.
