243. Duty of deed administrator to send fi nal report

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

This section applies to a person who was a deed administrator at the end of a deed administration.

(2)

As soon as practicable after performing all of the person’s other duties in relation to the deed administration, and in any event within twenty working days after the end of the deed administration, the person shall send to the Registrar and Authority a final report containing such information as may be prescribed, in such manner as may be prescribed.

(3)

Every person who fails to comply with this section commits an offence.
