245. Duty of administrator and deed administrator in relation to accounting records

(1)

An administrator or a deed administrator shall make accounting records that correctly record and explain, in relation to the period of the administration or in relation to the period of the deed administration, as the case may be, of all receipts, payments and other transactions relating to the property and undertaking of the company.

(2)

On an application to court by an interested person, the court may order that the applicant may inspect the accounting records referred to in subsection (1) on such terms and conditions as necessary.

(3)

The accounting records referred to in subsection (1)

shall be retained by the administrator or deed administrator, as the case may be, for at least six years after the administration or deed administration, as the case may be, ends.

(4)

An administrator or deed administrator who fails to comply with this section commits an offence.
